“Shared Soundscapes: Creating contact zones with citizen science and art-science collaborations” is a work package within the City Soundscapes transdisciplinary research project I co-lead together with Susanne Schmitt.

The CitySoundscapes project (October 2024 - September 2027), funded by the BMFTR - Research Initiative for the Conservation of Biodiversity, explores the relationship between urban structures and biodiversity, the resulting soundscapes, and their influence on human health. The aim is to find out how urban spaces and their green areas should be designed in order to harmoniously promote biodiversity and well-being with the help of soundscapes.
