Millions and millions of years is a bio-medialsound installation that teams a record player with alive green algae (chlorophyceae). The record player turns the vinyl under the weight of the vase while playing a slowed down litany sung by a choir. The song is a creation tale about the 1,5 billion years when algae was the most developed life form on Earth and during which it created the conditions for the development of all aerobice life. The spinning movement of the record player animates moves the algae to the over and over repeating refrain „Millions and Millions of Years“, and fact and fiction mingle into an inseparable plot.
