Behausung is the enlarged replica of the innermost chamber of a wasp nest, crafted from paper pulp. The work is based on the observation of the confusing eye-like shape of the wasp nest „starter“, but also on considerations of co-habitation between humans and non- humans in the city, and the semantic shifts involved in this interconnected living.

The work was realized as part of a cooperation between the architects and artists of the Art Academy Munich on the topic of garden cities and displayed at the 5th Architecture Week 2010 in Munich.
